Michele Wisch Robin is a strategic marketing advisor and the Founder and Principal of MWR Consulting. Michele advises business leaders and investors on marketing strategy, performance, operations, and growth. A graduate of The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Certified Digital Marketing Professional through the American Marketing Association and Digital Marketing Institute, she offers a rare blend of traditional business acumen and modern marketing expertise.

Over the past three decades, she has worked across the full marketing spectrum, from startups to Fortune 500 companies and across B2B, B2C, for-profit, and nonprofit environments, as well as on both the client and agency sides.

Her career has repeatedly placed her at critical inflection points, including rapid growth, organizational transformation, corporate development, acquisition, and post-acquisition integration. These experiences inform the systems-oriented perspective she brings to MWR Consulting and her understanding of how decisions in one area of a business can ripple through the rest.

A note from Michele

“You get it.”

These are the three words I hear most often from clients, and they are among the biggest compliments I can receive.

Those words signal that I understand the pressures leaders are under, the decisions they’re navigating, the stakeholders they’re accountable to, and the tradeoffs that come with every marketing choice.

So what does “getting it” actually look like in practice?

Getting up to speed quickly.

I’m able to identify industry and marketing dynamics, core business levers, and internal realities early on. By synthesizing those inputs, I can contribute without a long ramp-up, surface real sources of friction as well as opportunities, and focus attention on what will matter most.

Cutting through the noise.

I help leaders bring clarity to complexity, filtering out what may sound compelling in the moment but won’t actually move the business, and prioritizing the initiatives that will drive the greatest impact. As the marketing landscape continues to evolve, especially with AI, disciplined decision-making matters far more than speed alone.

Communicating in multiple languages.

I believe marketing sits at the crossroads of every organization, and when cross-functional perspectives aren’t included, outcomes suffer. I’ve spent decades working enterprise-wide across product, finance, operations, sales, legal, and technology. My skill in speaking across functions has always been one of my strengths, and one my clients value.

Setting teams up for success.

I know the kind of information, systems and support the people doing the actual lifting need to have. When priorities are well defined and workflows are aligned, internal teams and external partners execute more consistently, with fewer handoffs, less rework, and better outcomes overall.

Seeing the whole system.

Because I understand how the pieces connect, I can see how a decision in one area will ripple through the others, and flag the downstream effects before they become problems. That foresight helps leaders avoid costly missteps and make choices that hold up over time.

I hold my work to a high standard, and I genuinely care about seeing my clients succeed. That’s why I take on only a few engagements at a time, so I can give each one the focus, attention, and counsel it deserves.

I welcome the chance to learn about your objectives and explore how I can help.

Regards,

Michele
